BOARD OF VARIANCE - CALL FOR MEMBERSHIP
The Town of Creston is seeking one (1) community-minded individual to serve a three year
term on the Board of Variance.
The Board of Variance is an independent body with three (3) members, appointed by Council, that considers appeals for minor variances to Town of Creston zoning regulations (such as setbacks, building heights, etc.), in situations where compliance would cause undue hardship. Board of Variance decisions are final.
Board of Variance meetings are held as needed, with a minimum frequency of one (1) meeting each year.
This is an unpaid volunteer position, as required by the Local Government Act S.536 (7).
