The Town of Creston developed a Cemeteries Master Plan in 2013 to address the Town's two burial areas, Pioneer Cemetery and Forest Lawn Cemetery. The Plan provides the Town with a guiding vision for future development and direction on how to best manage the business and financial aspects of the service.
The Cemeteries Master Plan includes:
- Market Review, Demand Needs Analysis, and Trend Analysis;
- Fee Review and Financial Plan;
- Perpetual Care Fund;
- Governance and Organizational Plan;
- Operations and Management Practices;
- Products and Services;
- Capital Development Plan;
- Site Development Plan;
- Marketing; and
- Implementation Strategy.
