The Town of Creston is currently on MANDATORY Stage 2 water conservation measures until further notice.
In Stage 2, watering of lawns, gardens, trees and shrubs are ONLY permitted between 6:00 am - 10:00 am and 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Watering of gardens, trees and shrubs by watering can or hand-held hose is still permitted any time.
Stricter water conservation measures may be required if demand increases significantly, hot and dry weather prevails, or stream flows decline to critically low levels. Any changes to the Town of Creston's water conservation measures will be posted on our website, www.creston.ca and to our Facebook page. A complete description of the Town of Creston water conservation measures is available here.
Current water conservation measures and advisories for all surrounding Regional District of Central Kootenay water systems such as Erickson, Lister and Riondel are posted to the RDCK's website here.
