COVID-19 Update March 11, 2021

Creston, BC March 11, 2021: Today, Dr. Bonnie Henry amended the order on Gatherings and Events.  Up to 10 people may now gather outdoors.  All restrictions for indoor gatherings remain in place.  For example: 

  • Up to 10 people may gather at a park or beach
  • Up to 10 people may gather in the backyard of a residence
  • No gatherings of any size are allowed indoors.

Book your Vaccine Appointment: As of March 11, 2021 seniors aged 85 and up and Indigenous peoples aged 65 and up can call and book an appointment to receive their COVID-19 Vaccine.  To book an appointment in the Interior Health Region call 1-877-740-7747.  To learn more visit:  https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/covid-19/vaccine/seniors 

BC Centre for Disease Control Update Weekly Update on COVID-19 Case Counts:   From February 28 to March 6, 2021 the BCCDC reported three cases of COVID-19 in the Creston Local Health Area.
