Amendment to Provincial Health Order: Yesterday, a new amendment to a provincial health officer order was put in place to ensure a safer New Year's Eve for everyone. Effective Dec 31 at 8 PM until Jan 1 at 9 AM, the service and sale of alcohol is prohibited. This applies to any establishment that sells or serves alcohol, including: bars, restaurants, pubs, liquor stores or grocery stores. Unless a full meal service is provided, premises which are licensed to serve liquor must close between 9:00 pm on December 31, 2020 and 9:00 am on January 1, 2021.Learn more: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/.../covid-19.../restrictions
COVID-19 Cases in the Creston Local Health Area (December 20-26): The BC Centre for Disease Control released an update map of COVID-19 cases by Local Health Area of Case Residence. This map shows that from December 20 – 26, 2020 there were two cases of COVID-19 in the Creston Local Health Area.
