[ARCHIVED] COVID-19 Update - November 13, 2020

Creston, BC November 13, 2020:  As we move into the weekend, it is important to  pause and remember our COVID-19 layers of protection - washing our hands and physical distancing to wearing a non-medical or cloth face mask in all indoor public spaces. Yesterday, Dr. Bonnie Henry stated, “the data shows us that the virus is able to transmit far more easily in the colder weather when we are spending more time indoors, which means that many of the things that we were able to do safely this summer are no longer safe.” With this in mind, remember that it will take each and everyone of us, working together to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in the Creston Valley.

Face Coverings Mandatory at Town Hall: To support the health and safety of the Creston community, non-medical masks or cloth face coverings are now mandatory at Town Hall. Non-medical masks are available at the front door for public use. Please note that Town employees are also available by phone at (250) 428-2214 or by email  info@creston.ca to assist residents between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm Monday to Friday if they prefer not to attend Town Hall in person.
