The Regional District of Central Kootenay will be providing free disposal of yard and garden waste during the month of October at the Creston Landfill.
Accepted yard and garden waste includes:
🌿 Hedge clippings
🌿 Weeds & shrubs
🌿 Shrub & tree branches less than 15 cm (6") in diameter
🌿 Up to 2.5 cubic metres, or what can fit in a pick up truck bed.
The Town of Creston will be providing our Fall curbside collection for yard and garden waste on Tuesday, October 13th, Wednesday, October 14th, or Thursday, October 15th - on whatever day of the week your normal garbage collection day is. Further details will be posted shortly.
