Creston, BC – September 29, 2020: Creston residents, if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, COVID-19 tests can be booked by contacting Public Health at 250 254-2055 and leaving a message. A Public Health Nurse will return your call and try to fit you in as soon as possible. Tests are done Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  

Provincial State of Emergency: The Province of British Columbia has formally extended the provincial state of emergency, allowing health and emergency management officials to continue to use extraordinary powers under the Emergency Program Act to support the Province's COVID-19 pandemic response https://news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2020PSSG0053-001854.  

Public Alerts, School Notifications and Public Exposure Notices: Notices are posted on the BC Centre for Disease Control’s (BCCDC) website, and on all health authorities’ websites, providing details on where the potential exposure occurred and what actions to take – whether to self-isolate or monitor for symptoms.
