Creston, BC – September 22, 2020:  It’s difficult to believe that autumn is officially here, and with it the opportunity to continue taking care of ourselves and our loved ones as we progress into respiratory season. In addition to washing our hands, physical distancing, and staying home if we are sick, it is important to stay informed. The Town of Creston has compiled a list of resources from the BC Centre of Disease Control, the Province of British Columbia, the Interior Health Authority and the Government of Canada to support easy access to reliable and relevant information. Canada/United States Border Closure Extended:  The Canada / United States border closure, to all non-essential travel, has been extended until October 21, 2020. For more information regarding COVID-19 and travel in Canada please visit:

Voting Safely and COVID-19:  A Provincial General Election has been called for Saturday, October 24 and ElectionsBC has been working with the Office of the Provincial Health Officer and WorkSafeBC to make sure it’s conducted safely for voters, candidates and election workers.
