Creston, BC – April 14, 2020: Council and Staff would like to thank our citizens for continuing to do their part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community. It cannot be said enough, that what we do today can only help us in the weeks and months ahead.
Yellowhead Road & Bridge (YRB) Amber Lites Tribute: YRB is organizing an “Amber Lites Tribute”, to show appreciation for the front line health care workers the Creston Valley. The Tribute is scheduled for Wednesday April 15 at 7 pm. If you can see the hospital from your home, be sure to watch out for their lights - and take a moment to appreciate all those who are working to keep us safe.
Town of Creston Parks: A reminder that the Town of Creston parks are closed to bookings and gatherings; however, they remain open for general public use. Please note that the public washrooms, playgrounds and outdoor exercise equipment that are owned by the Town are all closed. We ask that everyone practice social distancing by maintaining a physical distance of two metres, and continue to follow the recommendations of our Provincial and Federal Medical Health Authorities.
