As of 10 am, Thursday May 30, Stage 4 water restrictions are lifted. The Town of Creston would like to express a huge thank you to our community for all of your efforts to conserve water during this time. We are so appreciative to have such wonderful support from all of our local businesses who voluntarily reduced water consumption. We would also like to recognize the efforts of all of our Town Staff and especially our awesome Public Works Department and Manager of Engineering for working around the clock to get our system back online!
Please note that Stage 1 water conservation measures (watering of lawns, gardens, trees and shrubs only between the hours of 7 pm – 10 am) go into effect every year from June 1 to September 30, regardless of seasonal weather patterns.
