Creston, BC, July 11, 2018 – The Town of Creston is pleased to announce the appointment of Jared Riel, Assistant Fire Chief with Creston Fire Rescue to Acting Fire Chief.

Mr. Riel has 12 years of fire service experience and his intimate knowledge of Creston Fire Rescue’s operations will ensure continuity during this transitional time. Council is confident that
with Mr. Riel’s appointment, the operational needs of the fire department can be maintained and managed efficiently and effectively moving forward.
