Smoke from U.S. visible in Boundary and West Kootenay

CASTLEGAR - Residents of the Christina Lake, Grand Forks and Creston areas may experience smoky conditions today as a result of prescribed burning taking place in both Washington and Idaho.

The visibility and direction of the smoke's travel will depend on weather conditions. However, smoke is expected to be visible in the Boundary and Creston areas along the Canada-U.S. border.
